Developmental Services Aide - (Bilingual English/Spanish Required)Chula Vista, California
This is a casual, grant funded position with an end date of June 30,2020. Due to the business needs of the department, this position requires bilingual English/Spanish.
Under the direct supervision of a licensed care practitioner, provides and documents clinical care and associated tasks as assigned. Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal care is provided in a quality environment to patients and families. Utilizes appropriate age and developmental approach in application of care.
High School diploma, GED or Foreign equivalent
One year of experience
Current BLS/CPR Certification for Health Care Providers issued by the American Heart Association
Those staff assisting with the provision of direct Audiology and/or Speech Pathology services must be registered with the State of California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board within three months of hire date
Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in OT/PT/Speech/Audiology
2 years of experience
Pediatric experience in inpatient, outpatient or long-term care setting
Advanced knowledge of medical terminology; experience with data entry and clinical computer systems
