Patient Access Rep II - Developmental Services - Casual/Temporary, OceansideOceanside, California
This is a casual/temporary position with an end date six months from the date of hire, with the potential to convert to core/regular.
Schedule: Days, 8-hour shifts
FTE: Full-Time, 80 hours per 2 week pay period
Under general supervision, the Patient Access Representative is responsible for securing and providing appropriate medical and/or behavioral business information to/from patient families and funding sources. Interprets, identifies, communicates, and documents this information by way of: registration and scheduling for patient services, in a team environment. Performs other duties as assigned.
H.S. Diploma, GED, or Equivalent plus 1 year of experience or Associate's Degree in lieu of 1 year of experience
1 year of Healthcare experience
Experience with Epic or Other EMR systems
Experience with payment collection efforts
Bilingual English/Spanish and/or other languages that meet business needs of the department
