POSITION DETAILS:
Schedule: Days, 8 hour shifts
FTE: 80 hours per two week pay period
JOB SUMMARY:
The 340B Program Managers is responsible for managing the month to month operations of the QHS 340B Prescription Drug program and all its components including compliance with all program regulations. This position provides advanced knowledge for compliance with 340B Program guidelines with respect to accounting and proper audit controls and provides guidance on the implementation of the controls using principles recommended by the Audit and Accounting Departments. Compliance areas include monitoring and routine audit of sales accumulation, purchasing procedures, Medicaid billing procedures, patient eligibility, new areas of service, and the overall quality of the 340B Program. This position interfaces, from a management perspective, with various system oversees/business unit managers including Inpatient Pharmacy, Retail Pharmacy, Home Care Pharmacy to ensure operational performance and builds relationships with various wholesalers, the 340B Prime Vendor Program (Apexus), trade organizations (SNHPA), and the HRSA Office of Pharmacy Affairs to ensure 340B Program Operational goals are met with adherence to HRSA/OPA guidelines in collaboration with the 340B Patient Definition provided by the RCHSD Legal Department. This position will closely align with the Legal Department in updating the RCHSD 340B Patient definition with Providers and the RCHSD covered entity Departments. In addition, this person will become the subject matter expert to both Pharmacy and executive leadership. This position is also responsible for marketing the 340B program to Departments, Providers and Patients.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree
5 years of experience
Knowledge of 340B operations, Pharmacy Purchasing Experience
Knowledge of Medicare or Medicaid Operations
Strong Team Management skills
Strong Communication skills, ability to coordinate complex projects
Strong Financial Analytics and reporting techniques
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s Degree
