Director, Internal Communications - AdministrationSan Diego, California
Schedule: Days, 8-hour shifts
FTE: Full-Time, 80 hours per 2 week pay period
Location: Main Campus
Collaborates with senior leadership to develop and execute internal communications strategies that will broaden the reach and deepen impact for Rady Children's to be recognized as an employer of choice. Guided by principles of instilling trust, engagement, inspiration and respect for Rady Children’s team members, executes communication that:
• Fosters innovative, consistent, respectful communication and engagement with employees and leaders at all levels.
• Advances a workforce culture of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
• Advances leader and employee workforce experience, learning, growth and development.
Develops communication to address the multiple, diverse needs of the Rady Children’s workforce, reaches and engages all members of the workforce and reflects our culture.
Responsible for department output and oversees tracking in terms of quality, on-time delivery, reporting and process improvement. Advise on best practices for alignment and integration of human resources, organizational and leadership development activities in support of RCHSD's strategic objectives.
5 years of experience
Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook are required; and willingness to learn new software and management tools as needed.
Strong oral and written communication skills
Experience in a healthcare environment
Ability to prepare complex written and graphic reports that explain and interpret data trends.
