Clinical psychologist to provide assessment, intervention, and evaluation to dialysis children and kidney and liver transplant patients through all phases of care.

A member of the interdisciplinary team involved with care planning for medially fragile patients with a focus on adherence and coping.

Preferred:  Pediatric experience, biofeedback / mindfulness training, neuropsych testing

JOB SUMMARY:

The Health Psychologist provides direct patient care in various locations within RCHSD. Works collaboratively with treatment teams internal and external partners, and agencies in the development of clinical programming. Works to support the department in the advancement of behavioral health initiatives that aim to improve the health of pediatric populations. When indicated conducts testing, assessments, develops care plans, and implements evidence-based therapies. Psychologist completes documentation per department standards and regulatory guidelines. Participates and leads ongoing initiatives of the department to support the vision and innovation of integrated health care.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Doctorate Degree (non MD)

2 years of experience 

CA Licensed Psychologist

BLS for Healthcare Providers, issued by AHA

Successfully complete the credentialing process through Medical Staff Services

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

3 years of experience

Academic emphasis on assessment of children and child development

The expected hiring range for this position is $41.49 to $57.05
