JOB SUMMARY:
Become an integral part of our world-renowned Rady Children's Institute for Genomic Medicine. RCIGM is a research arm of Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego and is headquartered on the Rady Children’s campus. We are a passionate, non-profit research organization filled with people who are ushering in a new era in personalized pediatric healthcare. The Human Enterprise Manager will be the strategic human resource planning function of the Rady Children's Institute for Genomic Medicine (RCIGM). Aligns policies and procedures with Rady Children's Hospital and optimizes individual, leadership, and organizational business objectives, performance, and strategies in the short and long term, considering the needs and priorities of the Workforce of the Future. Evaluates the RCIGM team structure and plans for continual improvement in efficiency and effectiveness of the group and ensures individuals have access to professional and personal growth opportunities. Integrates business strategies and priorities with HR and organizational strategies and priorities. Able to identify critical positions and provide direction and support to meet current and future needs. Maintains an effective level of business literacy, budget parameters, people needs, business plans, culture, and competency needs. Assesses the impact of long-term planning, including telework, on the ability to attract, retain, and grow talent. Develops strong relationships across business functions through thought leadership, coaching, mentoring, conflict resolution, and people advocacy to continually drive employee engagement and build a culture of excellence.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree, area of related study

5 years of HR experience

Demonstrated success in coaching, mentoring, consulting, and employee / labor relations

Experience leading business transitions and organizational change

Ability to think strategically, apply strategy to operational results, and lead critical business operations

Strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint and PeopleSoft skills; experience with HRIS


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
PHR Certification

SPHR Certification
