This is a casual position with an expected assignment length through March 2020.
With general supervision of the Benefits Manager, supports various human resources functions by providing front line response and consultation to employees and management in the areas of recruitment and selection, performance management, policy interpretation and procedures, personnel actions, identification of appropriate resources and other areas within the HR department. Coordinates the completion of departmental projects and initiatives as identified by HR Leadership. Provides excellent service to both internal and external customers.
High School Diploma, GED or foreign equivalent
2 years of experience
Experience in a Human Resources department performing similar functions
Working knowledge of human resources practices and labor laws in the areas of recruitment, AA/EEO, employee relations, compensation, training, benefits and wage and hour
Working knowledge of PC office products and HRIS
Ability to manage multiple projects, work in a fast-paced environment, and work under frequent job pressure generated by short and inflexible deadlines
Ability to deal tactfully with challenging callers, pay attention to detail and follow through on all projects and tasks
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field
3 years of experience
Strong proficiency in MS Office and HRIS computer skills
