Kanban Specialist - Supply Chain Management

The Supply Chain Operator II position will oversee the daily functions related to one of the following three areas of the Supply Chain Management Department:
1. Central Stores
2. Surgical Services
3. Clinical Equipment Distribution
While this position does not supervise staff, it is responsible for the daily functions of each specific area and therefore must have a thorough understanding of the fundamentals and operations of each area. To be eligible for employment in this position, the employee must be able to perform all tasks associated within each sub-department and be willing to cover various shifts as needed. Works under the general supervision of the SCM management team on routine and special assigned tasks and projects.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma, GED or foreign equivalent
3 years of experience
CA Driver License and Proof of Auto Insurance
Three years Supply Chain Operator experience at Rady Children's Hospital, or six years hospital supply chain management inventory, distribution and shipping and receiving experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
6 years of experience
Certified Materials Resource Professional or Associates Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management
ADDENDUMS
Supply Chain Operator II - Central Stores is responsible for covering all functional tasks including receiving, warehousing, distribution, par stocking and customer service related to supplies and linen. This position is also responsible for providing backup support of the Omnicell and At Par systems and must be proficient in troubleshooting and servicing both software and hardware associated with these systems.
Supply Chain Operator II - Clinical Equipment Distribution is responsible for all tasks related to centrally distributed medical equipment including sourcing, tracking, distributing, cleaning and charging of rented equipment. Responsible for ensuring an adequate amount of equipment is always clean and available. Coordinates workflow of equipment amongst all shifts on a daily basis to ensure equipment is properly cleaned and available.
Supply Chain Operator II - Surgical Services is responsible for covering all functional tasks related to the ordering, receiving, storing, distributing and replenishing supplies throughout the Surgical Services department. Oversees the RC120 and RC130 inventories ensuring supplies are readily available while controlling overstock and outdated supplies. Responsible for all supply consignments and loaned product residing in Surgical Services.
The expected hiring range for this position is $23.10 to $31.77
