The Data Services Department is responsible for the oversight and management of four technical areas: Data Engineering, Enterprise Analytics, Integration, and Software Development. The department has two managers, Mgr. IS Programs – Enterprise Analytics & Data Engineering and Mgr. IS Programs – Integration & Software Engineering. 

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the general direction of the Associate Chief Information Officer, the Mgr, IS Programs – Integration & Software Engineering provides the Information Management division with operational management & oversight for assigned technical software/hardware and staff, including the integration engineers and software developers. The Mgr, IS Programs - Integration & Software provides leadership to staff, establishing and ensuring adherence to standards of systems development, maintenance, and support. The manager leads efforts to provide continuous availability of assigned systems that are crucial to the overall hospital operations. They coordinate, plan, and supervise the performance of staff and resources to ensure completion of assigned duties and optimal system performance.

Position is responsible for the management of system integration, integration applications, web management/development, the SharePoint Online environment, de novo applications for which affordable off-the-shelf solutions are not available and automation technologies. The position has overall responsibility in this domain for project implementations including oversight of solution analysis, coding, application programming, design, development, configuration, testing, and documentation.  Moreover, this position is responsible for the support, maintenance and troubleshooting of all implemented systems in this domain.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree
5 years of experience
Three years of experience in information systems principles and practices.
Think and process critically, analytically and problem solve skillfully.
Delegate and achieve organizational results with and throughout all levels of the organization.
Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Effective interpersonal skills.
Effectively manage a team of Information Systems professionals in an integrated environment, overseeing system selection, design, build, validation, implementation, upgrades and production support.
Three years of experience in fundamentals of hospital organization, management techniques, JCAHO, HIPAA and Title 22 requirements.
Interpret functional and/or technical specifications and to communicate technical issues to programmers and non-technical users/clients.
Effectively work with all levels of management, staff, clinicians and physicians, consultants and vendors.
Lead and mentor, to provide guidance and foster a collaborative cross functional/cross platform team environment.
Communicate effectively, clearly, accurately and concisely, verbally and in writing. 
Implementation experience with previous integrated HealthCare Information systems with emphasis on Clinical/Financial, ERP/EMR applications/systems (EPIC, Meditech, PeopleSoft, etc.)
Hold others accountable, provide feedback and constructive criticism and to effectively manage conflict and ambiguity.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's Degree
Experience in SDLC and ITIL process methodologies.
Experience in Project Management

The expected hiring range for this position is $55.60 to $76.45
