JOB SUMMARY:

The Project Specialist II, with oversight from the Program Manager and Coordinator, is responsible for providing support of the coordination and implementation of the assigned program and/or project (s), including planning and development. This individual will assist the Coordinator with all aspects of program evaluation, including creating and implementing the evaluation strategy and tools. The Project Specialist II will assist the Coordinator in tracking purchases and inventory (as appropriate per program) in support of keeping a balanced budget. Project Specialist II will assist with the creation of program marketing materials and outreach, including communication strategy across website, social media, community publications etc. This individual will also assist in developing strategic partnerships to support and grow the program and participate on ongoing department and/or organizational initiatives, as requested.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree

2 years of experience

CA Driver’s License 

Proof of Auto Insurance 

Knowledge of healthcare issues specific to youth

Experience with presenting information to a classroom-sized audience

Experience working with diverse youth populations and planning events

Proficient with MS Office

Ability to work independently as well as take direction

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

3 years of experience

Knowledge of community health resources

Experience developing curriculum and providing healthcare education
