POSITION DETAILS:

Schedule: Days, 8-hour shifts

FTE: Full-Time, Exempt

Location: Main Campus and Remote

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for project management, planning, coordination, contracting and evaluation of the diverse functions and activities related to multiple clinical and research study programs. Functions as a core team lead and supports the development of realistic project plans. Responsible for studies that include stakeholder engagement, financial oversight, ensuring execution of research protocols in a timely and succinct manner in accordance with all pertinent regulatory guidelines and requirements, including Human Subjects Protection, HIPAA, etc. Responsible for submission of protocols and renewals to IRB (if applicable) and management, submission of data and/or regulatory forms to grant funders, sponsors, CROs and regulatory agencies. Develops, documents and executes the clinical/research study project plans and accountability matrixes to support clinical and research studies in a timely manner. Interfaces with patients/subjects and/or the principal investigators (PI) as well as liaising with other departments within the institution and affiliated organizations. Provides analysis of moderate to complex issues in area of specialty where levels of research of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Exercises independent judgment with regard to broadly defined practices and polices; selects methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for analysis. Provides determination of methods and procedures for new assignments and provides guidance or oversight to other team/project members. Presents material and data in a thorough and succinct manner to various levels of audience. Conducts research data analysis, assists in grant submissions and publications. Creates and maintains strong internal and external interpersonal relationships.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree

3 years of experience

Experience in provision of service or level of research for applicable program, grant or study.

Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of internal and external customers, including but not limited to grant/contract personnel, medical, clinical and other staff, as well as with community partners.

Demonstrated proficiency at presenting complex data in a succinct and comprehensive manner; familiar with electronic presentation programs and methods.

Demonstrated ability to establish priorities, manage multiple projects, meet program deadlines, understand and follow research regulations and processes for conducting, evaluating and improving research, manage program/project budgets and create and maintain research policies and protocols.

Demonstrated ability to perform complex levels of analysis and independent research and study.

PREFERRED QUALIFICIATIONS:

Master’s Degree

5 years of experience

Post graduate analysis and research work experience.

Prior supervisory experience; experience coordinating and monitoring research program staff.
