Schedule: Nights, 12 hour shifts

FTE: 72 hours per two week pay period


Responsible for assessment, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions affecting the cardiopulmonary system for both children and adults. Selects and administers the appropriate care, taking into consideration the age, development level and size of the patient. Provides a caring relationship that facilitates health and healing. Should be able to identify own limitations and seek appropriate resources, as needed.


Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or a diploma from a NBRC certified Respiratory Therapist Program

1 year of experience

CA Respiratory Care Practitioner License

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification

BLS for Healthcare Providers, issued by AHA

PALS certification (Issued by American Heart Association Provider)

NRP certification

For Pulmonary Function Lab Specialist - CPFT required within 6 month of hire

RT I to RT II after 6 months and successful completion of New Graduate Residency Program


Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy

3 years of experience

Neonatal Pediatric Specialist, NPS

Asthma Educator Certification

Previous pediatric experience


For Pulmonary Function Lab Specialist - 1+ year Pulmonary Lab experience; NRP not required for Pulmonary Staff
