The Sr Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting and executing the organization's communications and marketing strategies across all channels to recognize Rady Children's nationwide as an academic medical center and institutes of distinction; recognized as the children's health resource of choice, the charity of choice and the employer of choice. Channels including e-communications, social media, paid media, search engine marketing, specials events, campaigns, and general communication. This includes but not limited to coordinating content for marketing campaigns and optimizing the organization's web site(s) strategy, social media, e-newsletter(s), email solicitation, crowd funding, online advertisement, direct mail, and other forms of communication. This position is responsible for analyzing giving data and web site(s) activity to enhance donor/prospect experience through e-communications. Works closely with supervisor and Foundation staff to execute communication strategies to increase donors/prospects' awareness of organization priorities, achievements, and giving opportunities.
This position will execute a comprehensive marketing program that is aligned with priorities identified by the Senior Vice President and Chief External Affairs Officer of Rady Children's Hospital. Meets or exceeds individual and department performance standards as assigned by management. Creates and executes special projects as assigned by the SVP/Executive Director and/or supervisor.

Bachelor’s Degree
3 years of experience 
Experience with managing a comprehensive communications program including social media, email nurture/automation, event marketing, content creation, and other channels, with a particular focus on online/e-communications
Detail-oriented and a team player
Works efficiently under pressure; meets deadlines; demonstrates strategic thinking and good decision-making, as well as an entrepreneurial spirit
Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
Articulate, poised, and possesses strong writing and verbal communication skills

Master’s Degree
6 years of experience
Knowledge around CMS (Content Management Systems) and marketing automation applications
Knowledge around non-profit and/or healthcare marketing

The expected hiring range for this position is $34.13 to $46.93
