Systems Analyst - QM - Quality Management
San Diego, CaliforniaRady Children’s Hospital-San Diego is currently seeking a experienced System Administrator to support Quality Management. Integral in providing technical and analytical support to Quality Management, the System Administrator will serve as database administrator and super-user for the designated Safety Reporting System (SRS), RLDatix RL6 platform. This platform manages and supports the utilization of safety event data to drive improvement, support a culture of safety and assist in optimizing clinical care.
Duties: (in addition to current to job posting):
Work closely with front line staff, physicians and leaders throughout the organization who utilize the system to obtain maximum benefit from the platform.
Responsible for developing materials and training users on the SRS.
Act as the liaison between vendor and organization.
Responsible for performing changes/updates to the SRS and must work in many environments (test, train, production) to confirm changes are functioning as intended.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills: (in addition to current job posting)
RLDatix RL6 database experience
Familiarity with Patient Safety and Quality Improvement methodologies
Working knowledge of database mining and creation of reports, as well as organization of systems
JOB SUMMARY:
Provide technical and analytical support to the Quality Management (QM) department to include the aggregation of data and reporting of information to be reviewed at committee, departmental, nursing, ancillary and executive management levels. Responsible for system administration and testing for the organization's electronic Safety Reporting System (SRS). Oversees the development and ongoing updating and data gathering for the Ongoing Physician Performance Evaluation (OPPE) process. Acts as a team resource consultant of the QM department to enhance the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the department. Works in concert with Medical Staff Office and QM
regarding physician-related issues.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
H.S. Diploma,GED,or Equivalent
2 Years of Experience
Working knowledge of data management, Excel, and Word
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
5 Years of Experience
Strong working knowledge of Excel, Vizio, Word, data management and statistical analysis skills.
Experience with EPIC.
RLDatix RL6 experience
The expected hiring range for this position is $24.26 to $33.36
