VP, Campus Master Planning

Reporting to the Regional Presidents of Rady Children's Health, the VP Campus Planning provides an executive vision by partnering with all stakeholders (real estate, facilities, patient services, finance, human resources, support services, safety, local communities, etc.) to ensure implementation of the Enterprise-Wide Master Plan building projects. Leads project planning and implementation efforts including but not limited to decanting existing patients, personnel, equipment, and enabling new construction build-out. Ensures vision of building, and operating new facility is realized in terms of safety, budgetary, and resource plans, overall milestones, and goals.
The VP ensures that the overall enterprise master plans remain on track with the Board approved budget, scope, and timeline. Key interdependencies include alignment with Rady Children's Health's strategic & long-range financial plans. The program areas of focus include expansion plans for; inpatient care, outpatient-regional, mental health, physician space, workplace of the future, campus parking and research. In this role, the VP provides input and/or makes recommendations on key initiatives impacting enterprise-wide facility investments and long-term facility master planning.
