Claims Trainer - CHOC MSO

Under the supervision of the Claims Manager, the Claims Trainer - CHOC MSO's primary jobfunction is to support Claim operations by developing and executing a training program for nonclinical staff as it relates to claims processing, provider dispute resolution, and claims quality assurance. Training includes, but is not limited to, claims processing (data entry, eligibility verification, benefits verification, authorization verification, pricing information, manual calculations and appropriateness of claim denials and payment accuracy. The Claims Trainer – CHOC MSO is responsible for applying all the functions they provide training on as part of their standard job function and provide backup, as needed.
The incumbent maintains all tools such as claims policies and procedures, job aids, and claims Sharepoint site. The incumbent provides specific feedback and training to examiners that require one-on-one training and is responsible for auditing trainees at 100% until compliance measures are met.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
H.S. Diploma,GED,or Equivalent
5 Years of Experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate's Degree
The current salary range for this position is $28.09 to $38.62
