JOB SUMMARY:

Level I

Responsible for the nutritional care of inpatients and outpatients as assigned. Conducts nutritional assessments, designs and recommends plans of care, evaluates and monitors nutritional intervention. Provides nutrition education to patients, families and staff. Functions as a member of multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Serves as a nutrition resource for healthcare team, hospital staff and community.

Level II

Same as Level I plus teaches nutrition classes.

Level I

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics

1 year of experience

Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration

NPI number required within 60 days of hire

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

3 years of experience

CCS paneled

Bilingual English and Spanish

Level II

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Meet all level I requirements

3 years of experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Master's degree or advanced certification (i.e. CNSC, CLEC/CLE, CSP, CDE)

4 years of experience

Bilingual in English and Spanish

California Children's Services (CCS) paneled

The expected hiring range for the Clinical Dietitian I position is $35.84 to $49.28

The expected hiring range for the Clinical Dietitian II position is $39.51 to $54.33
