The Corporate and Community-Fundraiser LII is responsible for developing relationships with a core group of prospective organizations/corporations and community advocates with capacity to give 250K+ or/as defined by management; managing an active portfolio of 80-100 prospects and/or corporate and community partners; maintaining an active awareness of organizations/prospects in the prospect pool in various stages of identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship. Fundable programs and projects include, but are not limited to, institutes, centers, endowments, programs, chairs, fellowships and capital needs. This position will solicit corporate/individual sponsors/donors, provide guidance to third-party fundraising events, and help to coordinate cause marketing campaigns. Works to expand Children's Miracle Network Hospital (CMNH) partners as assigned and/or implement community outreach strategies that may include stewardship and other activities relating to fundraising. Acts as liaison to affinity groups, physicians, hospital administrators, and other stakeholders. Maintains an active awareness of goals, objectives, and direction of the development program as a whole. Meets or exceeds department performance standards as assigned by supervisor. Creates and executes special projects as assigned by the SVP/Executive Director and/or supervisor.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree
Three years of experience
CA Driver’s License and Proof of Auto Insurance
Experience in a fundraising setting
Experience with executing corporate/community solicitation and/or development
Detail-oriented and team player
Works efficiently under pressure; meets deadlines; demonstrates strategic thinking and good decision-making, as well as an entrepreneurial spirit
Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
Articulate, poised and possesses strong writing skills
Ability to make frequent trips by personal vehicle between hospital buildings and donors
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Six years of experience
Knowledge around Blackbaud non-profit applications
The current salary range for this position is $34.14 to $46.94
