JOB SUMMARY:

Under general supervision, the Customer Service Representative MPF CAU is responsible for ensuring that incoming calls from internal and external providers and patients regarding referrals and authorizations are received, handled in a manner that promotes favorable relationship on behalf of the department and the organization. The Customer Service Rep responsibilities includes but is not limited to the knowledge of referral and authorization processes for specialty services performed at Rady Children's Hospital and Health Center. Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

H.S. Diploma,GED,or Equivalent

2 years of health care customer service experience or 3 years of customer service experience outside of health care

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree

5 Years of Experience

Experience with Epic or other EMR Systems

The current salary range for this position is $22.00 to $30.27
