Overview
The Patient Access Representative (PAR) is the first person to interact with a patient family. Whether onsite in a clinic, or in the Central Scheduling call center, the PAR provides exceptional customer service, getting the patient registered and scheduled, verifying insurance and seeking authorizations for treatment. When onsite, the PAR checks in the patient when they arrive and completes all necessary paperwork and signatures. The Patient Access Rep should be kind and compassionate, helping a concerned family feel comfortable.
The patient experience is what brings families back to Rady Children's. The Patient Access Representative is a big part of this, providing a familiar face and reducing stress for children and parents. Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY:
The Director of Solid Organ Transplant, Dialysis and the Infusion Center will provide leadership and consultation in multiple aspects of the kidney and liver transplant programs, the hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis programs, the Apheresis program and the Infusion Center operations. The Director will also collaborate with senior leadership, managers, supervisors and staff to plan, implement, and evaluate processes related to performance improvement, staffing effectiveness, fiscal management, staff competence, and customer service. Ensures that regulatory requirements and standards are communicated, implemented and monitored. Collaborates with other members of the healthcare team to plan, implement, and evaluate activities related to departmental and organizational objectives.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's Degree
5 Years of Experience
ANCC approved nursing certification
Experience with solid organ transplant and or dialysis
5 yrs leadership experience
Demonstrated commitment to respecting differences and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment
The current salary range for this position is $86.06 to $118.33
