Genetic Counselor - Genetics
San Diego, CaliforniaThis position will work primarily in the Neurology and Muscle Disease clinics, in multi-disciplinary clinics as well as one-on-one genetic counseling via both in-person and telemedicine appointments. This is an in-person position on the Rady Children’s Health campus in San Diego. Prefer candidates with prior experience in patient-facing genetic counseling.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Genetic Counselor provides education, counseling, and informational services in the field of genetics for patients, physicians, and other parties referred to RCHHC Genetics Services.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s Degree from an ACGC accredited program in Genetic Counseling or Human Genetics
Certification by the American Board of Genetic Counseling
Genetic Counselor Licensure by California Department of Public Health
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
3 Years of Experience
The current salary range for this position is $43.56 to $59.91
