Lead, EEG Technologist - Electroencephalogram

Under the supervision of the Director, the Lead EEG Technologist is responsible for the daily performance of the department. Specifically they train staff and provide a role model for performing EEG studies on pediatric patients in the EEG lab and on the floors. Teaches documentation requirements for testing, ensuring all protocols are met. Provides ideas and recommendations for improving the department. Works closely with Medical Director to bring in new equipment and set up protocols.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
H.S. Diploma, GED, or Equivalent
4 Years of Experience
BLS for Health Providers (AHA)
Electroencephalography Certification
Registered EEG Tech through ABRET
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree
5 Years of Experience
Graduate from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Electroneurodiagnostic (END) Program or Bachelor's degree in a related field
Knowledgeable about childhood epilepsy, treatment, developmental disorders such as autism and cerebral palsy
The current salary range for this position is $44.94 to $62.55
