JOB SUMMARY:

The Preschool Floater Teacher is a valued member of our team, helping create a joyful, play-based, and inclusive learning environment where children of all abilities feel supported, connected, and empowered to grow. This role works flexibly throughout the center, providing classroom support, assisting with daily operations, and helping maintain a safe, engaging space for children and families. Using naturalistic strategies and a relationship-based approach, the Floater Teacher supports the developmental needs of all learners while contributing to a culture of collaboration, compassion, and excellence. This position also helps ensure compliance with all licensing and regulatory standards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

H.S. Diploma,GED,or Equivalent (diploma and/or transcripts must be provided)

1 year of experience

BLS for Healthcare Providers, issued by American Heart Association

First Aid Certificate

CA Driver’s License

Proof of Auto Insurance

12 units in Child Development: 3 units in Child, Family and Community, 3 units in Child Development 101, 3 units in Curriculum, and 3 units in any other child development course and/or must obtain within 6 months of hire

Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate's Degree

2 years of experience

The current salary range for this position is $24.26 to $33.36
