JOB SUMMARY:
The Sr Video Content Producer is an experienced and highly skilled filmmaker leading the development and execution of high-quality short-form video content that effectively communicates strategic messaging. This role is responsible for translating complex concepts into clear, visually compelling narratives that align with organizational objectives and engage diverse audiences. It requires end-to-end ownership of the production process, including concept development, direction, filming, and post-production, with a consistent focus on quality, accuracy, and impact. This role partners cross-functionally with senior leaders, internal stakeholders, and external partners to deliver content that reflects the organization's brand and values.
This role demands a high level of professionalism, executive presence, and the ability to operate independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. It involves strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities, exceptional communication and interviewing skills, and production of high-impact visual storytelling.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree
10+ Years of Experience
CA Driver's License
Skilled in videography including knowledge of the latest video, audio, lighting, and camera technology
Expertise in professional video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro
Experience interviewing subjects for videos
Excellent oral and written communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience working in a hospital/healthcare setting
Experience working with children and families
Familiarity with fundraising and philanthropy
Experience in healthcare, nonprofit, or mission-driven storytelling.
Award-winning work, with recognition for creativity, innovation, or impact.
Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Film or a related field
The current salary range for this position is $34.14 to $46.94
Rady Children’s Hospital is committed to compensation that is externally competitive and internally equitable. We demonstrate this commitment by conducting regular market reviews to remain competitive with organizations of similar size in the nonprofit, healthcare sector. The range listed above does not represent the full salary range for the position but is the expected hiring range for qualified candidates. Compensation decisions consider a variety of factors including experience, education, licensure, unique skillsets, organizational need, and internal equity.
