JOB SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Director of Inpatient Behavioral Health, the Supervisor of Child Life oversees the inpatient and outpatient day-to-day administration and operation of Child Life Specialists, Playroom Assistants and others who may be assigned to the department. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: staff assignment allocation, scheduling, budget input, close collaboration with the RCHSD Foundation and Volunteer Services, patient satisfaction/complaint resolution, responding to Critical Incident/Safety reports, hiring and onboarding, timecard oversight, performance management, financial stewardship and managing any related internship programs. Also responsible for managing the integration of all assigned programs and leads or participates in system-wide patient safety and quality initiatives in support of the RCHSD mission. Provides direct clinical care as needed or assigned by the director.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree

5 Years of Experience

Child Life Certification

BLS for Health Providers (AHA)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Master's Degree

The current salary range for this position is $37.63 to $51.75
