JOB SUMMARY:
The Supervisor, Psychiatry Site, manages the daily operations of an outpatient clinic and / or school program, which includes, but is not limited to, patient access to treatment, case prioritization, patient triage, case assignments to staff and interns, managing the Wait List and referrals, monitoring staff productivity, response to parent / agency telephone calls regarding services or concerns, conducting staff performance evaluations, recruitment and hiring of staff, managing performance, and implementing disciplinary action. Supervises administrative staff, clinical staff, physician staff, and students; provides individual and group supervision. Provides leadership to all clinical Teams and leads/facilitates the clinic / program staff meetings. Collaborates with the Department Director and Medical Director in program development, marketing, problem resolution, and new program implementation. Attends meetings at RCHSD and in the community, as assigned, to represent the Department. Ensures program compliance with all contractual and regulatory agency obligations and regulations. Provides clinical therapy and documents such therapy, in accordance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's Degree Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or other Behavioral Health
3 years of experience
3 years of experience, post licensure, in the provision of individual, family, and group psychotherapy
Licensure in Social Work or Marriage & Family Therapy in California
Meets State of California requirements for clinical supervision
Knowledge of child and adolescent development
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
5 years of experience
5 years of experience, post licensure, in the provision of individual, family, and group psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and families
Licensure in Marriage, Family & Child Couns
AAMFT Approved Supervisor certification
2 years of experience in a prior clinical and administrative supervisor position
The current salary range for this position is $48.03 to $66.06
