JOB SUMMARY:
The Vice President will be responsible for strategic planning, establishing relationships, and managing system-wide Heart Institute business: including inpatient, ambulatory, and diagnostic. Accountable for assessment, implementation, and evaluation of patient care and ensuring that quality care is provided to patients in accordance with organizational, professional and regulatory standards. Provides leadership and participates in continuous performance improvement activities throughout the Institute and develops and ensures compliance with clinical standards and staff competency. Plans, implements, and evaluates services to ensure sustained improvements in quality, cost, delivery, safety, engagement and family experience in all clinical sites. Strategizes and collaborates with physicians, hospital and clinical leaders, and other stakeholders to develop, implement, and operationalize initiatives intended to achieve desired outcomes. Accountable for the planning, development, provision, and continuous improvement of all patient care services within the Institute.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's Degree
Area of Study in a Field Related to the Position
5 Years of Experience
Broad knowledge of complex disciplines represented in departments and of the laws and regulations pertaining to services provided by the departments.
Minimum five (5) years of strategic leadership experience developing and enhancing care deliveryprograms, business development and management and developing leaders and effective care teamswithin a large, complex organization.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
7 Years of Experience
5+ years Pediatric Cardiac Care Management
Certified by ACHE and/or MGMA
Experience in an academic practice environment
Experience in Toyota Production System or Lean Methodology
The current salary range for this position is $76.30 to $110.64
