Children’s Specialists of San Diego (CSSD)
Children’s Specialists of San Diego (CSSD) is a medical group of pediatric specialists.
CSSD physicians and extenders, in conjunction with UCSD physicians, provide services through Rady Children’s Specialists of San Diego, a Medical Foundation (RCSSD).
With special programs and state-of-the-art technology, CSSD physicians are committed to providing top quality medical care for perinatal, neonatal, pediatric, adolescent patients and patients with congenital conditions.
Established in 1978 in accordance with the California Corporate Code, CSSD has expanded from 10 members in five specialty divisions to more than 300 physicians in over 30 specialty divisions.
Our specialists provide a full and diverse spectrum of ambulatory and in-patient services and are highly qualified to provide excellence in pediatric, adolescent and maternal-fetal care. They have completed extensive training in their respective fields and are board-certified/eligible in their area of specialization.
They are also involved in cutting-edge research and innovative training of future doctors and leaders, publications in peer-reviewed journals and state-of-the-art presentations at national and international conferences.
In addition to the main offices located in Kearny Mesa adjacent to Rady Children’s Hospital, we have expanded to include outpatient satellites in Brawley, Chula Vista, El Centro, Encinitas, Escondido, La Mesa, Murrieta, Oceanside, Temecula, Orange County, San Marcos, San Ysidro and Hawaii.
Other services include Urgent Care and NICUs at various locations throughout San Diego County.
