Business Analyst - Population Health Administration

This is not an IT position and requires population health and statistical analysis experience.
In this role, you will:
- Create and maintain ad hoc reporting with Cozeva, Epic EMR reporting, and REDCap
- Serve as MCAS HEDIS and AMP metric content expert with a robust understanding of criteria, coding, and tracking.
- Collaborate with department leadership and health plan quality improvement teams to enhance performance and outcomes.
- Apply your quality improvement knowledge to support our clinically integrated network’s quality improvement plans and mission of better health for all.
Preferred Skills
- Ability to identify areas for process improvement and develop/implement solutions.
- Lead review and writing descriptions of business needs and business program functions, including creating process and data flow diagrams, workflow diagrams, test scripts, training curriculum, and quality assurance/audit procedures.
- Proactively stay up to date on the latest Cozeva and NCQA guidelines to automate and modernize tracking and communication systems

JOB SUMMARY:
Provides analytical, planning and coordination support on projects. Responsible for reviewing, interpreting, analyzing and illustrating data in a manner that stimulates and supports innovative and enlightened thinking and decision making. Provides PC support, and serves as information systems liaison with vendors, Information Services, end users, etc. Responsibilities include:
- Business Development support
- Database creation and development
- Database, monitoring, reporting, and maintenance
- Facilitating Rady Children's Hospital enterprise system data linkages
- Making recommendations for optimization of systems ensuring overall data integrity

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree
2 years of experience
Will consider experience in lieu of degree
Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate efficiently and expertly with diverse groups
Advanced computer skills, extensive database experience and Microsoft Office applications skills required
Proven project management skills
Outstanding critical thinking and analytical skills, including system, process and business analysis for problem solving, product evaluation, and effective organization of responsibilities
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
4 years of experience
Master's Degree
The current salary range for this position is $35.84 to $49.28
