Division Support Specialist - PFS - RCSSD

JOB SUMMARY:

Division Support Specialist Under the general supervision of the Supervisor, Professional Billing & Coding, responsible for compiling & providing daily, weekly & monthly data to Supervisor for the Specialties that they support. Will monitor & report on work queue activity, encounter management, monitor electronic claims rejections & staff productivity reports. Compile & review monthly billing report packets for Director, Professional Billing. Analyze, track & trend any significant changes in prior months data providing root cause analysis of any identified trends.

MINMUM REQUIREMENTS:

H.S. Diploma, GED, or Equivalent

Area of Study in a Field Related to the Position

3 Years of Experience required in medical billing

Working knowledge of MS applications and ability to navigate internet

Working knowledge of medical terminology

Must possess effective oral and written communication skills, time management skills and the ability to multitask

PREFFERED REQUIREMENTS:

Associate's Degree

The current salary range for this position is $25.47 to $35.03
