HR Generalist (Casual) - Human Resources

JOB SUMMARY:
The Human Resources (HR) Generalist will provide a wide range of HR support and advice. The HR Generalist is a professional who oversees the human resources responsibilities and activities in specific areas, including recruitment, employee relations, organizational and leadership development, regulatory compliance, HRIS and benefits. The successful candidate will play a key role in the success of the organization by offering guidance on HR best practices while facilitating a positive relationship between the Rady Children's workforce, all levels of leadership, patients, families and the community. The HR Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and working closely to support the HR leadership team in day to day related operations. In addition, but not limited to, this position will support one or multiple HR functions: the employee relations function in the area of performance management, employee grievances and policy interpretation; leadership and staff training and development; benefits and compensation; recruitment; and identification of appropriate resources and other related initiatives and projects. This position provides project and analytical support by partnering to deliver best practice, strategic and business-focused HR solutions throughout the organization. Other activities are performed in collaboration with the specific functional area, the HR Leadership Team and the HR Partners.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or related discipline
3 years of experience
MS Office competency
Demonstrated knowledge of HR and OD/LD functional areas
Strong project management and critical thinking skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's Degree
5 years of experience
PHR or SPHR Certification
The current salary range for this position is $30.96 to $42.57
