Manager, Nursing Unit
Under the direct supervision of the Unit/Department Director, this position is assigned managerial &clinical responsibilities of the nursing unit/department & staff related to the coordination & operationof the department/unit. Team member whose responsibilities include leading, managing, &influencing the daily operational activities associated with the assigned team. Supports the overallbusiness plan by monitoring team performance & outcomes relative to establishedgoals/measurements. Participates in rotational on-call duties including, but not limited to, responding to emergency situations, maintenance malfunctions, or staffing situations that require coverage.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree
Area of Study in a Field Related to the Position
4 Years of Experience
BLS for Health Providers (AHA)
California RN License
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's Degree
Prior experience as team member on the department/unit for which candidate is applying or have previous leadership experience
Certified De-Escalation Training
Current PALS certification (for pediatric areas)
The current salary range for this position is $86.06 to $118.33
