Senior Business Systems Analyst - IT-Program Office

The Sr. Business Systems Analyst works alongside the Business Systems Analyst providing technical oversight and experience on software design and analysis, application and system installation and implementation, and system scope and design objectives. The Sr. Business Systems Analyst will provide technical mentorship to the Business Systems Analyst assist in the areas of research and analysis, monitoring and compilation of assigned project deliverables, and detailed specifications from which vendor systems will be programmed/configured, and guidance and support for workflow analysis and documentation. The Sr Business Systems Analyst supports the overall business / project plan by contributing to the analysis of assigned project deliverables, and detailed specifications from which vendor systems will be programmed/configured, and provides process and workflow analysis. The Sr. Business Systems Analyst responsibilities include duties related to high level project analysis and planning, medium to large project management (which may include design, analysis and implementation), along with supporting the overall business / project plan by identifying and providing deliverables as a Senior team member to meet project / team performance and outcomes relative to established project goals / measurements.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree or combination of education and experience
6 years of experience
Minimum six years of experience in analyzing and documenting current and future state workflows, optimal process design, building, testing, and supporting health care financial, and/or clinical enterprise solutions
Ability to work under pressure, follow project plans, prioritize appropriately, and balance competing requests
Must possess a high level of integrity
Self-motivated and self-directed
Must be an expert in subject matter as demonstrated by documented experience in analysis, research, and installation of enterprise solutions
Strong customer service and team focus
Must possess high level skills and documented experience in oral and written communications including analysis documentation, project management deliverables and documentation, application / systems specifications, project preparation, risk identification, escalation, and mitigation, presentation and training
Must have installed a minimum of two computer-based, hospital system and actively performed the following as a Business Analyst: current and future systems analysis, project lifecycle implementation with in depth experience and training in a minimum of four discreet major projects
Effective verbal and written communications skills
Prior experience in a senior position
Prior experience evaluating module-specific project deliverables at a technical level, working with Business Analyst to prioritize tasks, monitoring progress, and aggregating status information
Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem solving skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of process/workflow engineering
Experienced in cross functional business and application knowledge
Some form of Project Management training or prior experience
Experience working in a matrix team environment
Epic Application experience highly preferred
One or more certifications in applicable application / module
The current salary range for this position is $45.75 to $62.90
