Social Worker I - De-escalation Trainer - Staff Development & Education

The Social Worker I (MSW) applies principles of social work & other behavioral health practices to educate and train RCH staff on de-escalation principles, conflict resolution and resiliency. When appropriate practices as a member of the multi-disciplinary team providing on-site training support to employees.
May provide support & debriefing to RCHSD staff foll.owing traumatic events. Works collaboratively with all facets of hospital wide critical response efforts.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
3 Years of Experience
Inpatient psychiatric experience (adult or pediatrics)
Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Therapy or related field
Demonstrated commitment to respecting differences and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge of evidence-based practices utilized in clinical interventions
Experience in assessments and treatment of children and adolescents
Experience in trauma, bereavement, chronic illness, catastrophic diagnosis, family violence, child protection, and bio-ethical issues
Experience working in an acute-care hospital setting
Education or teaching experienc
The current salary range for this position is $35.84 to $49.28
