Speech Pathologist I P/D (Inpatient acute & Rehab) - Speech

At Rady Children's Inpatient Speech-Language Pathology Department, the primary focus of our Speech-Language Pathologists is children admitted to the hospital with injuries and illnesses that have impacted their speech, language, cognitive, voice and feeding & swallowing skills. Speech-Language Pathologists evaluate and treat children with brain injuries, dysphagia, tracheostomy+/- ventilator dependence and other medical conditions during their admission and also support specialty physician clinics.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's Degree
1 Year of Experience
ASHA - Speech Lang Path
BLS for Health Providers (AHA)
Speech Lang Pathologist Lic
Ability and experience working independently, using critical thinking skills and processes to arrive at objective, strategic, results-oriented decisions within the context of patient care and department, division, and organizational priorities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bilingual English/Spanish
Specialty certification in Speech Pathology advanced practice
Pediatric experience
The current salary range for this position is $45.75 to $62.90
