JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direct supervision of the Department Manager, the Supervisor provides clinical supervision for staff. Plans and prioritizes work assignments. Serves as subject matter expert; coordinates mentoring and training of team members. Provides ongoing feedback and evaluation to team members. Directly participates in annual performance appraisal process. Responsible for coordination and evaluation of functions and activities around access to care and clinical service offerings. Ensures compliance with protocols, policies and procedures. Responsible for resolving operational issues. Supports the overall business plan by monitoring performance relative to established goals. Works collaboratively with other Developmental Services leaders. May provide direct patient care to children and their families.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's Degree
Area of Study in a Field Related to the Position
3 Years of Experience
BLS for Health Providers (AHA)
Licensed in field related to the position
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) – minimum for Speech
Ability to coach, counsel and provide general supervision and performance feedback to others, facilitate meetings and lead decision making as demonstrated by prior leadership experience
Knowledge of competency and regulatory requirements for department
PREFERRED QUALICATIONS:
Doctorate Degree (non MD)
5 Years of Experience
Five years of clinical experience, including mentoring, employee development and training
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to work in a Windows environment.
Ability to identify opportunities for quality/process improvement and implement rapid cycle improvements.
The current salary range for this position is $55.60 to $76.45
