This high-functioning department is large and continues to grow, supporting inpatient, emergency, and our medical specialty clinics. These professionals are well-integrated into the medical teams and are considered experts in their field.
Responsibilities include:
- Scheduling, budget, patient satisfaction / complaint resolution, and responding to critical incident reports
- Interviewing, hiring, performance management and oversight of related internship programs
- Leading the integration of assigned programs supporting the medical and behavioral health care of patients and their families
- Leading or participating in system-wide patient safety and quality initiatives
- Providing direct clinical care in an as-needed capacity
- Hours are generally weekdays, but training may occur in the evenings/nights. Leaders take turns being on call for emergencies.

Minimum qualifications:
Master’s Degree
Five years of experience
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Knowledge of child/adolescent development and family dynamics
Excellent interpersonal skills
Preferred qualifications:
Five years of experience as a Medical Social Worker
Five years of post-licensure experience
Six years of experience in a hospital setting
Experience supervising social services in inpatient and outpatient hospital settings
Experience with provision of training/presentations to professional audiences
The expected hiring range for this position is $50.43 to $75.65 ($104,894 - $157,352)
