In collaboration with the Director of Regulatory and Accreditation Programs, assists in all accreditation & regulatory activities, including survey preparation & readiness assessments for all facilities accredited by the Joint Commission. The position is very independent & deals with sensitive and confidential regulatory information daily. This individual actively coordinates the organization's tracer program, & is responsible for the development, implementation & tracking of action plans necessary to close identified gaps in compliance. Helps to educate the organization in regulatory & accreditation issues. Is responsible for checking regulatory websites for new information & is instrumental in the development, assessment & achieving of organization readiness. In addition to survey readiness activities, this position assist in performing surveillance, auditing practices and monitoring trends related to controlled substances as part of the Diversion Prevention program. Performs investigations of suspected diversions. Educates clinical staff on safe practices related to controlled substances and serves as a resource for leaders on best practices for diversion prevention.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree
3 Years of Experience
Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment
Strong organizational and analytic skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
California RN License
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's Degree
5 Years of Experience
The expected hiring range for this position is $52.95 - $72.81
