School Nurse, Screening - School Health Screening
San Diego, CaliforniaRady Children's is hiring for per diem School Nurses for local school districts in San Diego County! Please note, all candidates must be School Nurse Services Credentialed.
Job Summary:
Under the direction of Supervisor, Government Affairs and School Health, the School Health Screening Nurse is responsible for providing mandated health screening services to students in public and private schools. These services are provided in collaboration with school district's health service programs and in compliance with established state regulations.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's Degree
3 years of experience
Current California RN License
Current BLS for Healthcare Providers, issued by AHA
School Nurse Svcs Credential
Valid California Driver's License, reliable transportation, and Proof of Auto Insurance
Experience in school environment
Effective communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
5 years of experience
Bilingual
The expected hiring range for this position is $24.26 to $33.36
