JOB SUMMARY:
The Social Media Specialist will work closely with supervisor to develop and lead social the media program for Rady Children's Hospital – San Diego and subsidiaries. This role will be involved in all aspects of social media content development, including writing and editing social media posts, creating short videos and social cards, leading audience engagement, social media campaigns and event promotion, tracking and reporting. Will collaborate with partners across all stakeholder groups to develop content and plans that are consistent with Rady Children's voice, brand and identity. Maintains an active awareness of goals, objectives, and direction of the social media program as a whole. Execute special projects as assigned by supervisor and/or VP, Marketing.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, English or related field and 2-4 years of relevant experience
2 Years of Experience
Detail-oriented and team player
Excellent content creation skills, deep knowledge of social media platforms, organic social media,
reputation management and some paid social media
Works efficiently under pressure; meets deadlines; and good decision-making
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe or other design products
Experience with real-time analytics/reporting

4 Years of Experience
The current salary range for this position is $30.96 to $42.57
