Sr. Construction Project Manager - Facilities Strategic Projects

The Sr Construction Manager will be responsible for the design & management of assigned, inhouse renovation & new construction projects or project management of hospital projects being designed by outside consultants. Will be expected to work independently with little direction or supervision. Will manage multiple projects, communicate & coordinate with key personnel, users, contractors, outside consultants, & government agencies; prepare construction contract documents, specifications & designs into biddable construction sets for assigned in-house renovation & new construction projects or apply management abilities to outside consultants to complete larger hospital projects with little direction or supervision, on schedule & within budget.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree
10+ Years of Experience
Experience presenting to Senior Executives and the Board of Trustees.
Knowledge of space planning, spatial relationships, functional flow, aesthetics, engineering, graphics, and construction practice; familiarity with a wide variety of building materials and finishes.
Ability to get through plan check and building permit approval process unique to hospital construction; exercise independent discretion and judgment and assume responsibility for decisions, consequences and results; manage financials for multi-million dollar projects.
Familiarity with MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint; proficient with MS Project and/or Primavera/Suretrak.
The expected hiring range for this position is $52.95 to $72.81
