Supervisor, Inpatient Behavioral Health - Social Services

Reporting to the Director of Inpatient Behavioral Health, the Supervisor of Inpatient Behavioral Health oversees the 24 hr / 7 day inpatient and outpatient day-to-day administration and operation of Social Workers, Child Life specialists, and others as may be assigned to the department, including psychologists or other patient and family services staff in assignment allocation, scheduling, budget input, patient satisfaction / complaint resolution, and responding to Critical Incident reports. Interviews, hires, and provides timecard oversight, performance management and manages any related internship programs. Manages the integration of all assigned programs in support of the institution's medical and behavioral health care of patients and their families on main and satellite locations, as assigned. Leads and / or participates in system-wide patient safety and quality initiatives in support of the RCHSD mission. Provides direct clinical care in an as-needed capacity.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s Degree
Five years of experience
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Knowledge of Child/Adolescent Development and Family Dynamics
Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Five years of experience as a Medical Social Worker
Five years of post-licensure experience
Six years of experience in a hospital setting
Experience supervising social services in inpatient and outpatient hospital settings
Experience with provision of training/presentations to professional audiences
The expected hiring range for this position is $50.43 to $69.35
